PUBLICITY HEAD SHOT

"John Little Publicity Head Shot"
Publicity Head Shot Photographed by Jacqueline LeBlanc

This is a Publicity head shot I photographed in my grade 12 Communications Technology course. I used a Nikon D90 DSLR with an 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6G VR lens. I also used a Camray 300 Compact Lighting System. I enjoyed this project because it gave me an opportunity to work with a model. I like this photo because it provided the model with a professional head shot that they can actually use.

ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHY

"On The Wall"
Architectural Photography by Jacqueline LeBlanc

I photographed this Architectural image in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada during a field trip with my grade 12 Communications Technology course. I used a Nikon D5000 DSLR camera with an 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6G VR. I edited this photo on an iMac computer using Adobe Photoshop CS3 software. I learned to use architectural photography technique such as natural light, framing and perspective. I liked the opportunity to get out of the classroom and do professional, original photography.

NIGHT TIME PHOTOGRAPHY

"Toronto at Night"
Night Time Photography by Jacqueline LeBlanc

I photographed this Night Time Photography in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada on a field trip with my grade 12 Communications Technology course. I used a Nikon D5000 DSLR camera with an 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6G VR with a low shutter to increase the exposer and allow the photo to get more light. The photo was edited on an iMac computer using Adobe Photoshop CS3 software. I liked how the floodlights were visible in the background and how the red colouring on the CN Tower really stood out against the dark sky.

WHITE LINE PHOTOGRAPHY

"On the Rim"
White Line Photography by Jacqueline LeBlanc

For this Black Line Photo, I used a D90 Nikon camera on a Manfrotto 055DB tripod in my grade 11 Communication Technology class. I achieved this photo from a small studio set up within my class that consisted of a black back ground and a Camray 300 Compact lighting system with a filter. This photo was edited on an iMac computer using Adobe Photoshop CS3 to edit. What I really liked about this photo was how the glass was outlined with the light and the rembrandt lighting style the strawberry had.

WATER PHOTOGRAPHY

"Jump on In"
Water Photography by Jacqueline LeBlanc

In my Water Photo, I really wanted to use an object with bright, vibrant colours to really pop against the dark black background. I took this photo in my grade 11 Communications Technology class using a large fish tank, a D90 Nikon Camera on a Manfrotto 055DB tripod. For lighting, a soft box as well as an umbrella light was used. This photo was edited on an iMac computer using Adobe Photoshop CS3. One challenge that I faced with this photo was that my object wouldn't fall in the direction of the camera therefore the face wasn't being shown.
